Summer camp basic information

  

Summer 2026 Camp Details

Camp time: 9:00am - 3:00pm 


Early Care: $10 per day beginning 8a - 8:50a 

Extended Care (for PM session only): $15 per day 3p - 4p 

Grades: rising KG (students currently in PK)  - rising sixth (students currently in fifth grade)

Days: Monday - Friday

Registration Fee: $285 Early bird. $345 March 1st. The payment requires a an initial payment then it is automatically divided into three equal payments once per month. Final payments being due May 1, 2026.

Enrollment Fee: $15 due at registration per child, per camp - Each camper will get a water bottle

Sibling Discount: 5% for second child, 10% for third

Referral Discount: Refer another family that has never registered for one of our programs to receive $25 off one week of camp. This will be done by email Info@CincySTEMlab.com

Multi-week Camper Discount: Each week past the second week of camp registered, is a 5% camp discount

Provided: Filtered water

Please Bring: Lunch and snack

Style of Camp: Hands-on, interactive, small group team projects. Campers will take home projects at least twice per week.

  • Campers will not go on fieldtrips.
  • Campers will go to the playground that is a 6 minute walk by sidewalk from our building.
  • Daily enrichment: creative writing, art, brain puzzles, story/reading time, math games, etc.

Our camp is divided into grade bands so experiments and projects are grade level and ability appropriate. Instructor to Camper ratio is 1:8.

*Expect that camps will fill quicker than usual.

  • Groups: Einstein's: rising KG - 2nd  ,  Newton's: rising 3rd - 6th
  • Classes will be in separate rooms with a maximum of 15 - 20 students per room. 
  • Einsteins: max 15 campers
  • Newtons: max 15 campers

All staff complete pre-camp training that includes:

  • Child abuse prevention and reporting procedures
  • Recognizing and responding to bullying
  • Emergency response protocols
  • Behavioral management strategies
  • Inclusivity and respectful youth engagement
  • First aid and CPR certification (as required by role)

We maintain structured supervision practices consistent with ACA safety guidance:

We follow age-appropriate supervision ratios to ensure adequate oversight and engagement at all times.

Staff are trained to:

  • Continuously scan and monitor campers
  • Position themselves strategically during activities
  • Maintain visual and auditory awareness
  • Anticipate potential risks before they occur

When possible, we use a two-adult rule to minimize one-on-one isolated interactions.

  • Written emergency action plans
  • Severe weather procedures
  • Injury response procedures
  • Secure check-in and check-out processes

First aid supplies are readily available, and staff are trained to respond promptly and appropriately.
